Alif-Laam-Raa.
(This is) a Book which We have revealed unto you (O
Muhammad) in order that you might lead mankind out
of darkness (of disbelief) into light (of belief in
the Oneness of Allaah) by their Lord's Leave to the
Path of the All-Mighty, the Owner of all Praise. Ibrahim

Explanation of Hadeeth "Shayaateen are locked up"
Many ask, "If the Shayateen are locked up (in Ramadaan)
then why does evil and sin still occur?"
From the Introduction of the Takhreej of Riyaadhus-Saaliheen
And this addition (' ...and
your actions') is vitally important because
many of the people misunderstand the Hadeeth without
it. So if you were to command them with what Ash-shara'ul
hakeem commanded them with like the growing of
the beard or differing from the Kuffaar and
similar to this from the commandments of the Share'eah,
they would answer you that what is relied upon is
what is in the heart, and they present as proof for
their claim this Hadeeth, without knowledge
of this authenticated addition
Importance of Isnaad
So with this those who leave off the chains of narration
from their books and collect the the hadeeths without
them are considered doing an injustice to the science
[of hadeeth] and to our Salif as-saalih those of whom
went to great effort in the pursuit of the chains
of narration and traveling for their purpose.
